As my friends had promised the snow was deep…

 

…Very deep at times!

After a few days of no fresh snow, we had to walk a bit further afield.

We were rewarded with great turns.

Some runs reqired a bit of a trek to get home.

Deep in the trees I met a Kamoshika, larger that an Alpine Bouquetin and very adept at moving in deep snow.

It’s the inspiration for the name of our powder ski!
